Glenfarclas Distillery is situated in the Speyside region in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas produces a traditional Highland malt with a heavy sherry influence.
Matured in 100% Oloroso Sherry casks for no less than 25 years. Smooth and silky in texture. Dark Belgian chocolate flavor stays in the back of your throat. A great after-dinner whisky so rich and full that is a dessert in itself, with a finish that goes on forever.
Tasting notes
Nose: A touch of menthol. Classic Sherry notes
Palate: Incredibly clean central palate, but amazingly tangy. Sherry and creamy barley, hints of gingerbread and nutty chocolate.
Finish: Long and complex finish, oak-rich, hints of smoke, cocoa, buttery.
