Trappistes Rochefort 10 is a world-renowned, 11.3% ABV Belgian Quadrupel Trappist ale from the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Remy. Known as "The Wonder" (Merveille), it is a dark, full-bodied, and complex beer featuring rich notes of figs, plums, chocolate, dark caramel, and a warming, vinous finish.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Intense, featuring ripe dark fruits (plum, raisin, figs), dark cocoa, toasty malt, and slight spicy/earthy notes.
Palate/Taste: Exceptionally smooth, rich, and dense. It brings flavors of dark chocolate, caramel, prunes, cherries, and a hint of clove-like spice.
Finish: Long, warm, and slightly sweet with a noticeable alcoholic, "port-like" character.
