Description
Ron Centenario No 12 Gran Legado is a premium 700mL, 40% ABV Costa Rican rum matured for 12 years in American white oak barrels (ex-whisky/brandy), using a solera method. Known for its amber color and smooth profile, it offers aromas of caramel, nutty notes, and red fruits, with flavors of ripe banana, vanilla, and oak, ideal for sipping or in an El Presidente cocktail.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Complex notes of dark caramel, toasted oak, dried fruits, and a hint of spice.
Palate: Velvety smooth, featuring notes of almonds, pralines, ripe bananas, almond sponge cake, and nougat, balanced by delicate oak.
Finish: Medium-length, warm, and slightly dry with lingering hints of oak, chocolate, and spice.
