The Richard Delisle XO Cognac (700mL) is a mature and harmonious French spirit primarily crafted from eaux-de-vie from the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois crus. It is aged for a minimum of 10 years in French oak barrels, resulting in a supple texture with deep woody notes and complex aromas.
Produced by the House of Richard Delisle, which has been operating for seven generations in the Charente region, this XO expression is noted for its smooth and indulgent character. It is typically enjoyed neat or on the rocks as a digestive, often paired with coffee or dark chocolate.
Tasting notes
Nose: A complex bouquet featuring orange, candied fruits, chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, and cocoa.
Palate: Supple and well-balanced, repeating the aromatic notes of fruit and chocolate, supported by strong woody aromas and floral hints of lavender and lilac.
Finish: Offers a smooth, lingering finish with soft traces of candied fruit.
