Description
Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a small-batch bourbon, known for its nuanced, mellow, and earthy profile with prominent notes of rich caramel, vanilla, and oak. Each batch is produced from a mashbill featuring high-quality American corn and is matured in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Appealing notes of rich caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, and honey, with hints of toasted oak, dried fruit, and cinnamon.
Palate: A smooth and full-bodied mouthfeel with deep caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, and layers of toasted oak and warm spices. Notes of stone fruit and sweet corn can also be found.
Finish: A long, warm, and slightly sweet finish with lingering impressions of vanilla, charred oak, and a touch of peppery spice.
