Description
Glen Talloch Choice Blended Scotch Whisky is a smooth, well-rounded whisky known for its notes of vanilla, toffee, and warm spices. It is a popular, accessible blended Scotch that works well both neat or as a mixer. A blended Scotch whisky, combining a high percentage (30%) of famous single malts (including Balblair, Knockdhu, and Speyburn) with grain whiskies. This whisky is matured in different oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years (longer than the Scotch Whisky requirement of 3 years), allowing the natural aromas and flavors to develop.
Tasting notes
Aroma: The aroma is soft and rounded, with hints of warm spice, caramel, citrus, and sweet malt.
Palate: Exceptionally well-rounded, the palate features delicious hints of vanilla, toffee, honey, and subtle fruit tones like apple and pear. A mild touch of oak and light smokiness is also present.
Finish: The finish is clean, gentle, and lingering, with a subtle smoky aftertaste and a hint of dry oak spice.
