Description
Espolòn Añejo is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave and aged in new American oak barrels before finishing in deeply charred ex-Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. It features a bright reddish-gold color.
Tasting notes
The nose includes roasted agave and wood, with notes of dried fruits, butterscotch, vanilla, and spice. The taste is medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture, presenting caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, and chocolate notes, along with a delicate spiciness. The finish is long, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and caramel, and a slight smokiness. This tequila is suitable for sipping or in cocktails.
