Description
Johnnie Walker Aged 18 year old is a private blend of whiskies that have matured for at least 18 years, taking the classic Johnnie Walker flavour into new territory with notes of bright citrus, fragrant almonds, with a warm vanilla core. The palate opens up into fruity tangerines, then to a toasted nut, malty dryness before finishing generously with a citrus, smoky end.
Tasting notes
Nose: Honeyed cereals, Cadbury's Fruit and Nut, distant bonfire smoke, clementine and spring blossom.
Palate: Peanut brittle, candied peels, plump sultana, a whisper of floral malt gives it an aromatic mid-palate, before giving way to a whisper of dry, earthy smoke.
