Description
Casamigos Joven Mezcal is a smooth, artisanal, unaged spirit crafted from 100% Espadín agave, known for its balanced blend of smoky, herbal, and fruity notes. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
Traditional Crafting
The agave hearts, or piñas, are cooked for 4-6 days in underground pits lined with volcanic rocks and heated by an oak wood fire, which imparts the signature smoky flavor.
Process
The cooked agave is crushed by a horse-drawn tahona stone wheel, fermented for 2-8 days with local spring water, and then double-distilled in copper pot stills.

Appearance: It is crystal clear in color.
Aroma: The nose features fragrant herbal and fruit aromas, with hints of smoke, fresh mint, and dried oregano.
Palate: It is smooth and well-balanced on the palate, with flavors of roasted agave, white pepper, smoked almond, tamarind, pomegranate, and tropical fruit notes like banana and mango.
Finish: It offers a long, silky finish with delicate tones of smoke, peppery spice, and a whisper of agave sweetness.
