Premium Aged Rum, 40% ABV, Trinidad & Tobago
Angostura 1919 Premium Aged Rum is a highly decorated gold rum from Trinidad & Tobago. Smooth, creamy texture and historic origins. It is crafted from a blend of light and heavy molasses-based rums aged between 5 and 14 years in charred American oak ex-bourbon barrels.
The rum is named in tribute to a historic event in 1932: after a fire destroyed the Government Rum Bond, master blender J.B. Fernandes discovered salvaged casks filled in 1919 that had developed an exquisite flavor profile. Today's blend replicates that original character using traditional Caribbean techniques, resulting in a spirit that is rich in vanilla and tropical spice.
