400 Conejos Espadin / Tobala is made with agave Angustifolia and agave Potatorum.
Aromas and flavors of green apple, tamarind and prickly pear cactus, sharpie, lemon, lime, and and sage with a round, dry medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-length finish evoking shades of fennel and lemongrass, yuzu peach tea, pepper and white asparagus, and creme brulee and sandalwood.
Tasting notes
Nose: Vibrant and fresh with aromas of citrus zest, orange blossom, and cooked agave. Subtle hints of mesquite smoke, wet earth, and green pepper are also present.
Palate: Smooth and medium-bodied. Expect flavors of roasted agave and tropical fruits (like pineapple and banana) balanced by earthy minerality and herbal notes.
Finish: Soft and persistent with a delicate, well-integrated smokiness, light peppery spice, and a touch of wood.
